Making the product is the training
Four working units, staffed by young adults with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and intellectual disabilities. They are not helped through the work. They do the work.
The diya unit
Trainees shape, dry, prime and hand-paint every lamp. It teaches grip strength, sequencing and finishing to a standard — what any workshop job needs.
The candle unit
Measuring, melting, pouring and setting wicks, under supervision. Precise, repeatable work that builds confidence fast.
Textiles & paper
Block printing, stitching, folding and binding. Our older trainees run whole batches themselves and check each other's work.
Packing & dispatch
Counting, boxing, labelling and handing over to the courier. The closest thing to a real job on the premises, and they are good at it.
